CarrGaragePostiz is a private, internal social media scheduling tool (a self-hosted copy of the open-source Postiz software). It is operated by Ian Carr for The Salvation Army Houston Northwest corps (Windfern) and is used only by that corps’ own administrators to schedule and publish posts to the corps’ own Facebook Page. It is not offered to the public.
When an administrator connects a Facebook Page, the tool receives and stores only what it needs to publish posts:
This information is used only to schedule, publish and show the status of posts on the corps’ own Facebook Page. We do not use it for advertising, profiling or any other purpose.
We do not sell, rent or share this data with anyone. Data is sent to Facebook (Meta) only as needed to publish posts you ask the tool to publish.
Data is stored on a privately operated server managed by Ian Carr and is accessed over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access is limited to the corps’ administrators.
Tokens and Page information are kept only while the Page remains connected. When a Page is disconnected, or when deletion is requested, the related tokens and data are removed.
You can revoke the tool’s access at any time in Facebook under Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations, then remove CarrGaragePostiz. To have your data deleted, see the Data Deletion instructions.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
